Here’s a flyer for my upcoming spring topics courses, GWS 470G Place & the Problem of Healing.Place&Healing
The Women’s Studies Program became official in 1990, with the approval of the undergraduate minor. In 2010-11 we celebrate our 20-year anniversary. We offer an undergraduate minor and a graduate certificate, offer a vigorous speakers/performers line-up, and have several outtreach projects, especially the Women & Kids Learning Together Summer Camp.
Our full-time faculty are Dr. Molly Kerby and Dr. Kristi Branham. I teach as well. For instance, this fall I’m scheduled to teach Black Feminisms & the Politics of Community, an elective in both the WS graduate certificate and the SRSC master’s. If you’re interested in any of our programs, here is the link to access more information:

We are in the process of getting our name changed–to Gender Studies & Women’s Studies–and expect that to be completed by this summer.
